These Accumulair® Metal Mesh Filters are constructed to withstand occasional and moderate cleanings between service periods. They can be cleaned by rinsing with a hose or washing in warm, soapy water. Allow the filter to dry, then re-install. With proper care and handling, these Metal Mesh filters can provide years of reliable service. They are designed for use in residential, commercial, and industrial applications to filter air. They have been used effectively in applications such as room air conditioners, furnaces, central air conditioning, rooftop units, as well as ceiling vent fans, computer drivers in the outdoor environment, air exhaust, recirculating systems and range hood fans. The media consists of multiple layers of pleated and flat aluminum screen wire to provide an intricate maze of debris-catching surfaces. The multiple layers of media offer maximum filter surface area. The heavy gauge expanded metal grids on both sides of the filter protect the media and maintain the rigidity of the filter construction.
